Certified Public Accountant (CPA) October 2015 Board Exam Results (List of Passers, Topnotchers, Performance of Schools)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination results. The official results were released on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

The examination was conducted by the PRC on October 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2015 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi and Lucena.

A total of 5,468 out of 13,317 examinees passed the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

COLEGIO DE DAGUPAN graduate RALLEY SORIANO PARAGAS garnered the highest place in the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam with a rating of 92.86 percent.

Performance of Schools in October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination

UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN emerged as the top performing school in the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 98.70 passing percentage or 76 out of 77 passed the exams.

The Board of Accountancy who administered the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam are Joel L. Tan-Torres as Chairman, with members namely Eliseo A. Aurellado, Gerard B. Sanvictores, Gloria T. Baysa, Concordio S. Quisaot and Samuel B. Padilla.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on October 26, 2015 but not later than November 6, 2015.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
  • Initial Registration Fee of P600
  • Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the October 2015 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination will be announced later, the PRC said.

During the last examination, a total of 2,132 out of 5,959 passed the May 2015 Certified Public Accountant board exam, PRC announced.
