FELIX YZAGUN MANALO is a sprawling historical epic that traces the origins and growth of the Iglesia ni Cristo (The Church of Christ) that was officially established here in the Philippines in from its humble beginnings in 1914 through to the present day. It is framed by the life of its first Executive Minister, Felix Manalo, from the time of his birth in 1886.

The full trailer for the movie Felix Manalo starring Dennis Trillo has been released by Viva Entertainment last August.

Directed by Joel Lamangan, "Felix Manalo" movie shows the life of the founder of the Iglesia ni Cristo, starting as young boy, how he studied religion, his travels to the country and how the congregation was formed.

Portraying the role of Felix Manalo is acclaimed versatile actor and singer Dennis Trillo. The movie also features a star-studded cast with appearances by Bela Padilla, playing the role of Felix's wife, Gabby Concepcion, AJ Muhlach, Heart Evangelista, Snooky Serna, Gladys Reyes, Glydel Mercado, Sheryl Cruz, Joel Torre, Tonton Gutierrez, Richard Yap, Bembol Rocco, Alfred Vargas, Richard Quan, Wendell Ramos, Bobby Andrews, Elizabeth Oropesa, Alice Dixson, Ruru Madrid, Joem Bascon, Ejay Falcon, Mylene Dizon, Yul Servo, Jaclyn Jose, Arci Munoz, Eddie Guttierez, among others.

The film reportedly has a budget of P150 million, the most expensive project that Viva Films has ever produced. The whole film was about 6 hours in length but a shorter version (176 minutes) will be used for the its theatrical release beginning October 7, 2015.

Due to its creative and technical merits, Felix Manalo received a Grade A rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB).

During its premiere screening at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Sunday (October 4), the film which produced by Viva Films bagged two prestigious Guinness World Record titles, the "Largest Attendance For A Film Screening" and "Largest Attendance For A Film Premiere."

According to an Instagram post from Viva Films, the premiere was attended by 43,624 people.
