2017 Philippine Holidays

Malacañang on August 18 released the Proclamation No. 50, s. 2016, declaring the Regular Holiday and Special (non-working) Days for the year 2017 in the Philippines.

Based on Proclamation No. 50, here are the Regular Holidays:

  • January 1 (Sunday) - New Year's Day
  • April 9 (Sunday) - Araw ng Kagitingan
  • April 13 - Maundy Thursday
  • April 14 - Good Friday
  • May 1 (Monday) - Labor Day
  • June 12 (Monday) - Independence Day
  • August 28 (Monday) - National Heroes Day
  • November 30 (Thursday) - Bonifacio Day
  • December 25 (Monday) - Christmas Day
  • December 30 (Saturday) - Rizal Day

Special (non-working) days are:

  • January 28 (Saturday) - Chinese New Year -
  • February 25 (Saturday) - EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary
  • April 15 - Black Saturday
  • August 21 (Monday) - Ninoy Aquino Day
  • November 1 (Wednesday) - All Saints Day
  • December 31 (Sunday) - Last Day of the Year
  • October 31 (Tuesday) - Additional special (non-working) day

The proclamations for the observance of Eid al-Fitr and Eidul Adha shall be issued after the dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar.

According to Wiki Dates, Eid al-Fitr is on Sunday, June 25, 2017 and Eidul Adha is on Friday, September 01, 2017.
