Millsap's 39 points help San Miguel advances to semis, hold off NLEX, 114-110

San Miguel Beermen became the first team to advance to the semifinals of the 2016 PBA Governors' Cup after they held off NLEX Road Warriors late comeback, 114-110, in their quarterfinals clash Friday (September 23) at the Araneta Coliseum.

Elijah Millsap led San Miguel with 39 points and 11 rebounds.

Four more players scored in double figures for the Beermen, who are targeting to defend their Governors' Cup title. Reigning MVP Junemar Fajardo had double-double with 17 and 13 rebounds. Marcio Lassiter and Alex Cabanot finished with 14 points apiece, while Arwin Santos had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Henry Walker was unstoppable with game-high 45 points and 17 rebounds for NLEX in the losing effort.
