Mechanical Engineer March 2017 Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of March 2017 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

The examination was conducted by the PRC on March 9 and 10 in Manila, Baguio and Cebu.

A total of 1,083 out of 1,904 examinees passed the March 2017 Mechanical Engineer Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

BATANGAS STATE UNIVERSITY-ALANGILAN emerged as the top performing school in the March 2017 Mechanical Engineer Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 100 passing percentage or 66 out of 66 examinees passed the exams.

The Board of Mechanical Engineering who administered the Mechanical Engineer Board Exam are Engr. Jesus M. Redelosa (inhibited) as Chairman, with members namely Engr. Fernando S. Guevara and Engr. Mirardo C. Malazarte, Jr.

From March 30 to April 5, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the March 2017 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

During the last examination conducted last September 2016, a total of 3,110 out of 4,470 examinees passed the Mechanical Engineer board exam, PRC announced.
