Registered Electrical Engineer April 2017 Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of April 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

The examination was conducted by the PRC on April 18 and 19 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena and Tacloban.

A total of 994 out of 2,213 examinees passed the April 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

Performance of Schools in April 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination

BATANGAS STATE UNIVERSITY-BATANGAS CITY (PBMIT) emerged as the top performing school in the April 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 88.31 passing percentage or 66 out of 77 examinees passed the exams.

Registered Electrical Engineer board exam covered the following subjects: DAY 1 - Mathematics, Engineering Sciences and Allied Subjects; Day 2 - Electrical Engineering Professional Subjects.

The Board of Electrical Engineering who administered the Registered Electrical Engineer Board Exam are Engr. Francis V. Mapile and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, member.

From May 3 to May 5, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the April 2017 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

During the last examination conducted last September 2016, a total of 2,817 out of 4,115 examinees passed the Registered Electrical Engineer board exam, PRC announced.
