SEA Games 2017: Gilas defeats Thailand, 81-74 (Video Highlights)

Gilas Pilipinas defeats Thailand at the start of the men's basketball competitions of the 2017 Southeast Asian Games, 81-74, on Sunday night, August 20 at the MABA Stadium, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Troy Rosario ended the game with 16 points with 10 rebounds while Standhardinger had a double-double of 15 points and 10 boards despite missing half of his 14 free throws.

Ray Parks had 14 points while Ravena finished with 11 points 4 rebounds, two assists, and two steals for Gilas.

Thai-American Tyler Lamb exploded for 17 points and 6 rebounds and made the biggest shots for Thailand. He tied the game at 62-all along with Kannut Samerjai and Chitchai Ananti had 11 markers.

The Philippines team next faced Myanmar on Tuesday, August 22.
