Fisheries Technologist October 2017 Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination on Monday, November 6, 2017.

The examination was conducted by the PRC on October 25 and 26 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao.

A total of 479 out of 1,399 examinees passed the October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

STEPHEN DAVE MAGBANUA DUPO, a graduate of UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MINDANAO-KABACAN, ranked first in the October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Board Exam with a rating of 87.00 percent.

Performance of Schools in October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination

With 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES VISAYAS-ILOILO
CITY
emerged as the top performing school in the October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 98.97% passing percentage or 96 out of 97 examinees passed the exam.

The Board of Fisheries who administered the October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Board Exam are Joel L. Tan-Torres as Chairman and members namely Eliseo A. Aurellado (inhibited), Gerard B. Sanvictores, Gloria T. Baysa, Concordio S. Quisaot, Samuel B. Padilla and Arlyn S. Villanueva.

From November 9 to November 21, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Notice of admission
  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the October 2017 Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

During the last examination conducted last October 2016, a total of 457 out of 1,391 examinees passed the Fisheries Technologist board exam, PRC announced.

VINCE NEIL BOLASCO FUERTES topped the October 2016 Fisheries Technologist Board Exam with a rating of 87.75%.
