The popular, addictive and annoyingly challenging "Flappy Bird" in on its way back in August, and this time with multiplayer.
The news broke via a tweet from CNBC’s Kelly Evans, to whom Dong Nguyen, the creator of the game, said “Flappy Bird is Coming Back. Multiplayer. August.”
The famous Vietnamese game developer also noted that the game will be "less addictive" this time around.
Despite reports that the game was earning around $50,000 daily through ads, Nguyen pulled the Flappy Bird from the App Stores in February because it became too addictive.
In the meantime, Nguyen posted a tweet about his new game. In the tweet, he says that he is building a new game so that ‘people can forget about the Flappy Bird for a while.’
