Michael Jackson was brought back to life at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. Watch below the video of his performance as a moonwalking hologram.

The hologram of late pop icon Michael Jackson appeared and performed at the event Sunday at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

Almost five years after the singer’s death, Jackson performed the song "Slave to the Rhythm" from his second posthumously album "Excape," released this month. The song was recorded in 1991.

Also at the event, pop diva Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian star Claudia Litte joined rapper Pitbull to sing “We Are The One (Ole Ola),” the official song of FIFA World Cup 2014; Shakira singing “Empire,” her latest hit; and Australian Iggy Azalea performing with former Disney starlet Ariana Grande.

Justin Timberlake emerged the biggest winner at the awards night, hosted by Ludacris, with seven trophies, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist awards.

Imagine Dragons won five awards, including Top Hot 100 Artist for songs’ chart performance, Top Rock Artist and Top Duo/Group among others.
