Senator Bong Revilla surrenders; PNP releases mug shots

Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. surrendered to Sandiganbayan on Friday, June 20, 2014, after his warrant of arrest was signed by Associate Justice Efren Dela Cruz.

Revilla face one count of plunder, a non-bailable offense, and 16 counts of graft for his alleged involvement in the “pork barrel scam”.

A famous movie and TV celebrity, Bong Revilla was then taken to Camp Crame to undergo regular booking procedures. The booking procedure includes taking mug shots, the physical and medical examinations and fingerprinting.

The Philippine National Police – Public Information Office (PNP-PIO) released some photos of Senator Revilla Jr. while undergoing the booking process.


As ordered by First Division of Sandiganbayan, Bong Revilla is now detained at the PNP Custodial Center also in Camp Crame.
