Cherry Mobile unveils Urban Android phone with KitKat (price, specs, features)

Cherry Mobile unveiled the new Urban smartphone with Android 4.4 Kitkat.

Android 4.4 – nickname Kitkat – is the 10th major version of Android. It was announced in September 2013 with the unveiling of an oversize Android Kitkat statue outside Google’s Building 44 in Mountain View.

The CM Urban smartphone packs 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB of RAM, expandable 4GB of internal storage, and 1,700mAh battery.

Cherry Mobile Urban, the first Philippine smartphone that runs Kitkat, also features 3G HSPA+ for mobile internet, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-SIM support, and 8MP auto focus rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera.

According to post on their official Facebook page, Cherry Mobile Urban supports Clout Print function that allows users to print documents wirelessly.

The Cherry Mobile Urban will go on sale at several CM outlets nationwide, priced at ₱ 4,699.
