The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) – renowned for its discipline, money, and political power – marked its 100th anniversary on Sunday, July 27, with about a 1.5 million joining the worship service in the morning, led by INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo.
INC members started arriving at the Ciudad de Victoria in Bocaue, Bulacan, as early as Saturday morning.
By 10 p.m. of the same day, 1,379 buses and 5,642 light vehicles had entered Ciudad de Victoria, according to Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Divina, chief of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO). Read more...

Some lanes of the North Luzon Expressway near the venue of the Iglesia Ni Cristo's centennial celebration in Bulacan were closed to traffic early Sunday, after they were turned into virtual parking spaces.
As of 8 a.m., at least two lanes at a portion of NLEX were filled with parked vehicles, according to a tweet by GMA News' Kara David.

The Iglesia ni Cristo gained two new world records Sunday after the Guinness Book of World Records declared its choir as the largest gospel choir in the world and the Philippine Arena as the largest mixed-use theater in the world.
According to Guinness, a total of 51,519 spectators watched the morning worship service at the Philippine Arena Sunday morning. The structure has a seating capacity of 55,000.
With 4,745 singers, the INC choir also bested the current world record held by the McDonald's Super Gospel Choir, which has 1,171 members. Read more...
