Pacquiao vs. Mayweather tickets sell out in seconds

The welterweight showdown between the undefeated Floyd Mayweather and the eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao is now officially on.

The contest between the two best fighters of their generation has been set since February, but a ticket contract was only finalized this week.

A dispute between Top Rank and Mayweather Promotions delayed the contract signing with the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but the issue was resolved thanks to CBS president Les Moonves, according to Yahoo Sports.

Tickets for the mega-fight are finally set to go on sale on Thursday (Friday PHL time). They can be purchased at, or by calling 800-745-300. Buyers are limited to four tickets per person.

Per ESPN's Darren Rovell, 14,000 tickets were released for purchase:

Tickets for the fight are priced at $10,000, $7,500, $5,000, $3,500, $2,500 and $1,500, though none of the $10,000 tickets were said to be publicly available.

Unfortunately, according to TMZ's Anthony Dominic, every ticket for the event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was sold within the first minute after being made available to the public Thursday:

The boxing match between Mayweather and Pacquiao, billed as The Fight of the Century, is expected to become the top-grossing prize fight of all time.
