The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of March 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on March 20, 2016 in Manila, All Regional Offices; Zamboanga, Bacolod, Antique and Rosales, Pangasinan.
A total of 12,128 elementary teachers out of 42,739 examinees (28.38%) and 18,810 secondary teachers out of 53,090 examinees (35.43%) passed the March 2016 Teacher Licensure Examination, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

ROWENA MIANO HINGPIT, a graduate from UNIVERSITY OF MINDANAO-DAVAO CITY, ranked first in the Elementary Level March 2016 Teacher Licensure Examination with a rating of 90.60 percent.
MICHAEL PRINCE NOTORIO DEL ROSARIO, a graduate from LORMA COLLEGE, ranked first in the Secondary Level March 2016 Teacher Licensure Examination with a rating of 92.00 percent.
The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places in the March 2016 Elementary and Secondary Levels Teacher Board Exam are the following:

UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN emerged as the top performing school in the March 2016 Secondary Teacher Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 93.44 passing percentage or 57 out of 61 passed the exams.
The Board for Professional Teachers who administered the Teacher Board Exam are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, with members namely Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.
From May 30 - June 2, 2016 (Elementary) and June 3 - June 10, 2016 (Secondary), registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc-online.com and follow instructions for initial registration..
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the March 2016 Professional Teacher Licensure Examination will be announced later, the PRC said.
During the last bar examination conducted last September 2015, a total of 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees and 34,010 secondary teachers out of 81,463 examinees passed the Teacher September 2015 board exam, PRC announced.
