The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of April 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on April 17 and 18, 2016 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legaspi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
A total of 1,055 out of 2,145 passed the April 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination, according to PRC (via PRC Website).
MARILOU JUMALON MONTEFALCON, a graduate of CHRIST THE KING COLLEGE-GINGOOG CITY, ranked first in the April 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination with a rating of 90.50 percent.

CAMARINES SUR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE-NABUA emerged as the top performing school in the April 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 92.19 passing percentage or 59 out of 64 passed the exams.
The Board of Midwifery who administered the Midwife Board Exam are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro as Chairman, with members namely Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Dr. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez.
Starting April 25, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration..
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
- 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the April 2016 Midwife Licensure Examination will be announced later, the PRC said.
During the last bar examination conducted last November 2015, a total of 1,273 out of 2,867 examinees passed the Midwife Board Exam, PRC announced.
