The Mighty Sports will face Singapore Slingers in the semifinals of 2016 Merlion Cup at the OCBC Arena in Singapore.
The Philippines representative secured a semifinal slot after topping Group B. They defeated Seoul Samsung Thunders 92-87 and Westports Malaysia Dragons 105-78 in the elimination round.
The Slingers, the Group A runners-up, after beating Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor 79-71 in their first game. They lost to Shanghai Sharks in the second game, 89-67.
The winner of the game will play the winner of Sharks and Thunders.
