The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of October 2016 Criminologist Licensure Examination on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on November 28, 29 and 30, 2016 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
A total of 10,901 out of 34,768 examinees passed the October 2016 Criminologist Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

CHRISTINE JOY ALMANO CAPALAR, a graduate from the SULTAN KUDARAT STATE UNIVERSITY-TACURONG, ranked first in the October 2016 Criminologist Board Exam with a rating of 91.55 percent.

UNIVERSITY OF THE CORDILLERAS emerged as the top performing school in the October 2016 Criminologist Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 95.16 passing percentage or 59 out of 62 examinees passed the exams.
The Board of Criminology who administered the Criminologist Board Exam are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao as Chairman, with members namely Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa.
From January 2, 2017 to January 6, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
During the last examination conducted last April 2016, a total of 3,928 out of 16,435 examinees passed the Criminologist board exam, PRC announced.
