The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of May 2017 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination on Monday, May 29, 2017.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on May 14, 15, 21 and 22 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legaspi.
A total of 3,389 out of 9,645 examinees passed the May 2017 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

VIANCA PEARL INOT AMORES and MARIANITO JESUS BERDIN DEL RIO, a graduates of UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS, ranked first in the May 2017 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam with a rating of 92.67 percent.

UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS emerged as the top performing school in the May 2017 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 94.29 passing percentage or 66 out of 70 examinees passed the exams.
The Board of Accountancy who administered the Certified Public Accountant Board Exam are Joel L. Tan-Torres as Chairman, with members namely Eliseo A. Aurellado, Gerard B. Sanvictores, Gloria T. Baysa, Concordio S. Quisaot, Samuel B. Padilla and Arlyn S. Villanueva.
From June 7 to June 16, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the May 2017 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
During the last examination conducted last October 2016, a total of 5,249 out of 14,390 examinees passed the Certified Public Accountant board exam, PRC announced.
