The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of May 2017 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on May 24, 25 and 26 in Manila and Cebu.
A total of 310 out of 561 examinees passed the May 2017 Chemical Engineer Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

WAYNE LORENZ BAGANO TANDINGAN, a graduate of UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS, ranked first in the May 2017 Chemical Engineer Board Exam with a rating of 85.20 percent.

DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY-MANILA emerged as the top performing school in the May 2017 Chemical Engineer Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 94.12 passing percentage or 32 out of 24 examinees passed the exams.
The Board of Chemical Engineering who administered the Chemical Engineer Board Exam are Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong as Chairman, with members namely Engr. Jeffrey G. Mijares and Engr. Cyd P. Aguilera.
Starting June 2, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the May 2017 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
During the last examination conducted last November 2016, a total of 534 out of 918 examinees passed the Chemical Engineer board exam, PRC announced.
