The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of August 2017 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on August 5 and 6 in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu.
A total of 802 out of 1,277 examinees passed the August 2017 Physical Therapist Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

Performance of Schools in August 2017 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination
With 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage, UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS emerged as the top performing school in the August 2017 Physical Therapist Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 98.97% passing percentage or 96 out of 97 examinees passed the exams.
Physical Therapist board exam covered the following subjects: DAY 1 - Basic Sciences (30%) and Medical and Surgical Condition, Pathology (25%); DAY 2 - Physical Therapy Applications, Electrotheraphy, Therapeutics Exercises, Principles of Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy (45%).
The Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy who administered the August 2017 Physical Therapist Board Exam are Pollyana G. Escano as Chairman, with members namely Raul G. Agustin, Bernadette M. Reyes, Delia R. Pabalan and Rolland Lyle D. Duque.
From August 15 to August 16, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Notice of admission
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the August 2017 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
During the last examination conducted last February 2017, a total of 211 out of 259 examinees passed the Physical Therapist board exam, PRC announced.
