Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas fell in their 5th game to China Kashgar, 86-70, in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup quarterfinals on Thursday, September 28 in Chenzhou Sports Center, Chenzou, China.
Import Darius Adams and Mugadaer Xirelijiang lead their squad’s win over Philippines, after scoring 23 and 20 points, respectively.
On the other hand, Isaiah Austin recorded a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, Kiefer Ravena also chipping 16 points, while Carl Cruz and Jett Manuel added 10 markers each for Chooks-to-Go.
China made a fourth period outburst and stretched the lead with 14 three-pointers, which 11 3’s from Adams and Xirelijiang, while the Philippine team having only 5 out of 23 attempts beyond the arc.
The loss relegated Chooks-To-Go to 5th to 8th place classification round. They will go against Al Ahli Dubai at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, September 29.
China, meanwhile, will face BC Astana in the semifinals on the same day.
