Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas finished fith place in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup campaign after winning against Mono Vampire Thailand 89-79 on Saturday, September 30 in Chenzou, China.
Isaiah Austin came with 37 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and 6 blocks in the game leading the team to its victory alongside Kiefer Ravena who scored 18 points, while Jett Manuel had 13 boards.
The team had a sluggish start during the game but outburst on the 3rd quarter stretching the lead to 66-57 with 24-12 run.
On the other hand, former San Miguel Beermen import Mike Singletary once again recorded the Thai’s team high with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while his Fil-Am team mate Jason Brickman finished with 14 points, five boards, and six assists.
Lastly, Al Riyadi Lebanon were declared champion of the tournament after defeating China Kashgar 88-59 in th finals game on Saturday.
