The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of October 2017 Electronics Engineer (ECE) Licensure Examination on Friday, October 27, 2017.
The examination was conducted by the PRC on October 21 and 22 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Lucena.
A total of 2,235 out of 4,784 examinees passed the October 2017 Electronics Engineer Board Exam, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

Performance of Schools in October 2017 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination
With 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN emerged as the top performing school in the October 2017 Electronics Engineer Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 98.33% passing percentage or 59 out of 60 examinees passed the exam.
Electronics Engineer board exam covered the following subjects: DAY 1 - Mathematics (20%) and Electronics Engineering (30%); DAY 2 - General Engineering and Applied Sciences (20%) and Electronics Systems and Technologies (30%).
The Board of Electronics Engineering who administered the October 2017 Electronics Engineer Board Exam are Engr. Alnar L. Detalla as Chairman and members namely Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe.
From November 3 to November 8, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Notice of admission
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the October 2017 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
During the last examination conducted last April 2017, a total of 1,033 out of 2,503 examinees passed the ECE board exam, PRC announced.
AARON MACA-AYONG POLANCOS topped the April 2017 Electronics Engineer Board Exam with a rating of 88.80%.
