Teacher (LET) March 2018 Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of March 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

The examination was conducted by the PRC on March 25, 2018 in 20 testing centers all over the Philippines.

A total of 13,774 elementary teachers out of 58,323 examinees (23.62%) and 22,936 secondary teachers out of 76,673 examinees (29.91%) passed the March 2018 Teacher Licensure Examination, according to PRC (via PRC Website).

JOHN MICHAEL TAGAYON DELA PAZ, a graduate from UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN, ranked first in the Elementary Level March 2018 Teacher Licensure Examination with a rating of 88.80 percent.

KIER ARAULA BAUGBOG, a graduate from PAMANTASAN NG LUNGSOD NGVALENZUELA ranked first in the Secondary Level March 2018 Teacher Licensure Examination with a rating of 92.40 percent.

Performance of Schools in March 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers (Elementary and Secondary Levels)

With 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN emerged as the top performing school in the March 2018 Secondary Teacher Board Exam as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, with 98.55% passing percentage or 68 out of 69 examinees passed the exam.

Elementary Teacher board exam covered the following subjects: General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%).

Secondary Teacher board exam covered the following subjects: General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).



The Board for Professional Teachers who administered the Teacher Board Exam are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be from June 4 to June 11, 2018 for Elementary Level and June 14 to June 29, 2018 for Secondary Level.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:

  • Notice of admission
  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

During the last examination conducted last September 2017, a total of 21,198 elementary teachers out of 80,509 examinees and 49,626 secondary teachers out of 107,020 examinees passed the Teacher board exam, PRC announced.

MARY CLARENCE GEPES MADERO topped the September 2017 Elementary Teacher Board Exam with a rating of 88.80%.

RHOY AUTENTICO OMEGA topped the September 2017 Secondary Teacher Board Exam with a rating of 93.80%.
